FEES AND APPOINTMENTS
Counselling is available for individual sessions, couples and family. A free 15 mins phone consultation is available.
Making an Appointment
When you call to make an appointment you will generally be able to get an appointment within a week from the time you call.
Turning Point Therapy operates a fee for service. This includes the time and expertise of your counsellor during the session, as well as preparation time.
Session rates are in line with suggested fees for Registered Clinical Counsellors. Sessions are 50 minutes long. Clients usually pay by cash or cheque at each appointment unless alternate third party payment has been arranged in advance. Some extended health benefits such as Great West Life and Pacific Blue Cross will cover a Registered Clinical Counsellor. You should check directly with your provider to find out what kind of coverage you have.
I can work with clients who have Crime Victims Assistance and WCB claims.
Credit card payments can be made through paypal. Contact Delyse for details.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments.
The session that you book is time reserved exclusively for your benefit. Our cancellation policy is based on a fairness to you, the counsellor, and other clients needing appointments.
A session that is missed, rescheduled, or canceled with less than 24 hours notice of your appointment time will be charged the full fee, unless I can rebook the time.
Availability – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Evening appointments.
Telephone and Online Counselling
While using the telephone or Internet for therapy is not ideal, phone sessions or online video conferencing can be an effective and convenient alternative to face-to-face sessions when meeting in person isn’t possible.
I currently use Skype through the Internet with great success to work with clients who are unable to visit me in person. You can have sessions with me through Skype, a free, high quality video conferencing program that allows us to see and hear each other using your computer and a web cam (and headset if you choose). Skype is free to download off the Internet, easy to install and set up, is free of adware/malware/spyware etc and, most importantly, is confidential.
If you are interested in seeing me on Skype, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to set things up.
Skype Is Confidential.
Yes, all Skype sessions are encrypted to ensure privacy and confidentiality. You can read more about it on Skype’s website here and here.
To Get Started with Skype:
Go the Skype website and download the latest version of Skype for Windows or Mac, then install it on your computer. For help and any questions you have about setting up or using Skype, click here.
Open Skype and add me to your Contact List. My username is ‘delyseledgard’.
You will need a web cam if your computer doesn’t have one built in, and possibly a headset. To take a look at the web cams and headsets that Skype (and I) recommend, click here.
Call 1-604-329-6006 or e-mail me to set your free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to meeting and serving you virtually.
